Reader Reviews of Blessed with Bipolar
"There are a lot of great, wonderful people out there who have
bipolar disorder. I just finished reading a book titled, "Blessed with
Bipolar: 36 God-Given Gifts of Manic-Depression," by Richard
Jarzynka. Richard points out that people with this disorder have the
power to feel emotions in a way that most people can't, and
therefore can empathize and care about people in a way that others
may not be able to. In my opinion, this is a true gift from god... being
able to help others."

"Very interesting post. This compliments a book I've been reading called "Blessed
with Bipolar" by Richard Jarzynka. It's a very positive and spiritual account to this
disorder. I'm learning a lot!"

"Two of my sisters are married to men with bipolar disorder. Watching them go through the heart ache they
go through has been difficult to watch. I have always disliked my brother’s-in-law because of how they treat
my sisters- I can’t understand why they just don’t leave them. However I recently stumbled across a book
titled, “Blessed with Bipolar” by Richard Jarzynka. This book looks at bipolar disorder at a positive angle and
gives hope to those with the disorder. I now have to say that I have a better idea of what bipolar disorder
does to a person and feel more compassion toward my brothers-in-law now."

Well, I just finished your book--I couldn't put it down. For years I've been telling people that one of the
greatest blessings in my life has been my depression and most just shake their heads and listen politely!
I actually picked the book up off my brother's table and guess where he got it. . .you autographed a copy for
his father-in-law. I'm sorry to say that I highlighted and marked up the book so I will have to have you sign
another for him and I can slip it back on to Mike's kitchen table!
I fell into a black hell that took many doctors, meds, a few hospitalizations, ECT treatments. Truly by the
God's grace, my husband didn't run screaming away (not yet anyway--lol).
God has provided, comforted, lead, blessed. . . .

"Insightful perpective through the eyes of one who has been through
years of suffering. True faith in God does not come with a
miraculous cure, only the means to deal with the affliction and praise
the Lord."
